We’ve created a toolkit to help partners raise awareness of 988 in their communities and help people understand what to expect when reaching out. All materials have been research-tested and shaped by community input. Inside, you’ll find talking points, videos, graphics, sample social media posts and other communications materials.
Additional Partner Assistance
As part of the statewide 988 Oregon campaign, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and its communications partner, Coates Kokes (CK), are offering free technical assistance to help community organizations and partners promote 988 in their communities. Technical assistance is communications support, provided by CK, to help your organization create and share content that raises awareness about 988 Oregon. CK can help with design, translation, training and more. To request technical assistance, fill out the request form below. Please include details about your idea(s) and the kind of assistance you are seeking. Technical assistance requests must:
- Promote 988. While we recognize the importance of combatting stigma and growing community conversations about behavioral health, the primary goals of this effort are to increase 988 Oregon awareness and educate communities on what to expect when reaching out.
- Engage one or more priority communities in Oregon.
- Demonstrate trust, access and relevance with the community it serves.
- Speak to the organization’s trusted standing in the community and/or ability to reach one or more priority communities.
